Jesus Chimal-Monroy currently works at the Biomedical Research Institute, UNAM. He did biologist and master’s studies in the Faculty of Sciences at UNAM and Ph. D in the Biomedical Research Institute, UNAM, where he has worked as a researcher since 1997. Currently is Head of the Department of Genomic Medicine and Environmental Toxicology.
His Laboratory of Morphogenesis and Regeneration focuses on understanding the mechanisms of cell differentiation, molecular control of cell death and patterning during the morphogenesis of embryonic digits, and limb and brain regeneration.
